RCM Optimization & Outsourcing
CASE SERIES | The Client: National provider of ABA services
-

Overview
JHD Healthcare Partners partnered with Proud Moments, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services serving children across the United States. Founded by an early industry pioneer and backed by new investors, Proud Moments had built a strong clinical and operational foundation and was positioned for rapid growth through acquisition.
As the organization expanded, leadership recognized that existing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) capabilities were not scaling at the pace required to support growth efficiently. While Proud Moments had deep internal expertise, persistent RCM performance challenges were limiting visibility, increasing cost to collect, and creating risk as new practices were onboarded. JHDHP was engaged to strengthen RCM effectiveness, improve accountability, and establish a scalable operating model to support continued expansion.

Approach
JHD Healthcare Partners led a focused RCM transformation centered on outsource vendor selection, process standardization, and performance accountability. The engagement began with a structured RFP process to identify an offshore RCM partner with proven ABA experience and the ability to deliver measurable operational results, data transparency, and work-queue discipline.
JHDHP supported contracting and implementation, clearly defining performance expectations, service level agreements, and mutual accountability. Standardized workflows and reporting were established to improve visibility into performance and support scalable operations as the organization continued to grow.

Results
The engagement delivered significant cost reductions across RCM operations while improving performance consistency and transparency. Proud Moments gained the ability to efficiently onboard new ABA practices, supported by standardized processes, defined accountability, and improved data visibility. With a more scalable and reliable RCM operating model in place, the organization was able to support rapid growth, strengthen investor confidence, and continue advancing its clinical mission with operational stability.
