  • Reduced a $12 million operating loss to breakeven, re-designed the physician compensation system for 260 physicians, strengthened the use of supporting EHR and Practice Management Systems, re-staffed key positions, and developed an integrated Strategic Plan.

  • Designed and implemented strategies to increase engagement with community physicians, consolidated employed physician organizations to develop a network strategy for value-based reimbursement.

  • Assisted a large multi-specialty independent physician organization (500 providers) in New Jersey develop a governance and management structure.

  • Implemented outreach activities to increase alignment with community physicians and enhance the presence of a community hospital in Illinois.

  • Developed a comprehensive plan to clinically integrate three hospitals, 450 employed/community physicians, and a provider-owned health plan toward single signature contracting, managed risk for designated populations, and reduced the cost of care.

  • Consolidated 500 physicians and 110 practices using eight different management systems onto a single practice management system with standardized policies, a new fee schedule, and a Central Billing Office (CBO).

  • Managed the implementation of an Electronic Medical Record/Practice Management System as part of a Clinical Integration Strategy for a network of over 800 independent physicians in Southern California.

  • Restructured a 140-physician medical group to improve the bottom line by $8 million in preparation for integration with a large health system.
